The first silky cover of Kaba
The mother of Hadrat Abbas bin Abdul Mutallib, the uncle of the prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam was a lady from the Nimr Bin Qasit tribe. She was the one to wrap the structure of  Kaba with a high quality brocade cover, since she has taken a vow to Allah on finding her lost son Hadrat Abbas radhiallahu anhu saying “Oh Allah, if I get my son I will drape a silky cover over the Kaba.  It has been said that this is the first time when the Kaba was adorned with a brocade.
