Virtues of umrah in ligth of hadith
A Hadith has been narrated in Jame’ Tirmizi, Sunan Ibn Maajah and Sunan Nasaayi :
It was narrated by Syedna Abdullah Bin Masood RadhiAllahu Anhu that the holy Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said:  “You perform Hajj and Umrah consecutively because  Hajj and Umrah eradicate the arrogance and sins in such a way that the furnace removes the impurities of iron, gold and silver.” (Jame’ Tirmizi, Baab Maajah, Fi Thawab al-Hajj walUmrah, Hadith Number: 810, Sunan Nasaayi, Fadhal Al-Matabe’a bain Al-Hajj WalUmrah, Hadith Number: 2630 – Sunan Ibn Maajah, Bain Fadhal Al-Hajj walUmrah, Hadith Number 2887).

It has been narrated in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim :

“It has been narrated by Hadrat Abu Hurairah RadhiAllahuta’la anhu that the holy Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said: “One Umrah is a Kaffara for the sins committed till the next Umrah and the compensation for the Hajj Mabool (Accepted Hajj by Allah) is only Jannah (Paradise)”. (Sahih Bukhari, Bain wujoob Al-Umrata wa fadhlaha, hadith number : 1773 – Sahih Muslim, Bab Fi Fadhl Al-Haj wal-Umrata wa youm Arafah, hadith number: 3355).

There is a hadith in Sunan Ibn Maajah Sharif:

It has been narrated by Hadrat Abu Hurairah RadhiAllahuta’la anhu that the holy Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said:  “The performers of Hajj and Umrah are the guests of Allah.  If they ask supplications, He accepts them and if they seek pardon, Allah grant them pardon. (Sunan Ibn Maajah, Baab Fadhl Dua Al-Hajj, Hadith number: 3004)
