The start of the construction of the canal
This canal had been constructed in the year 186 hijri. It was laid from the width of the city baghdad to makkah mukarramah. There were 50 lakes constructed near the canal zubaidah at a distance of 25 to 30 kilo meters from each other. Amongst these five lakes were very famous.
