Prior to the Boundary of Meeqat -  On wearing Ihram – After Nafil prayers – After making Niyyah – After saying Labbaik – On Arrival at Jeddah Airport -  On Arrival at the Hotel at Makkah – On Reaching Ka’bah in the Holy  Haram – Stepping in to the Mataf

Dua and ehram

(1) Before starting the Tawaf (Circumambulation) remember that on arrival at the holy Haram Mosque our beloved prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam did “Idtiba’ “.  That is to say,  taking the ihram coverlet from below the right armpit and put both the edges of ihram coverlet on the left shoulder, thus keeping the right shoulder uncovered only at the time of Tawaf (Circumambulation). This is recommended (Mustahab).  A few respected Hujjaj use to keep their right shoulder open ever since they wear Ihram, which is wrong. And praying in this condition is abominable (Makruh). (Mar’atal Manajeeh bihawala Marqaatal Mafaateeh, tahat Hadith 2608, Volume 4, Page 199).

(2) Now with affection and love, be ready to circumambulate around the Ka’bah,  then do idztiba’ in the same (right shoulder uncovered) condition stand facing the Ka’bah in such a way that the complete Black Stone (Hajr Aswad) comes to your left side. Now, without rising your hands have the intention (Niyyah) for  Tawaf (Circumambulation)  like this :

اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اُرِیْدُ طَوَافَ بَیْتِکَ الْحَرَامِ فَیَسِّرْہُ لِیْ وَتَقَبَّلْہُ مِنِّیْط

“Allahumma inni ureedu tawafa baitikal haraam, fayassirhu li wa taqabbalhu minni. “

Translation:  Oh Allah, the Glorious One!  I intend to circumambulate your holy house, make this easy for me and accept this from me.

(3) After Niyyah, still facing the Ka’bah slightly move towards right-side to         stand on the brown color strip on the floor.  Now  the Black Stone (Hajr        Aswad) is just opposite to you and you are facing towards that.

Subhanallah, the Glorious! This is the fortunate stone of Jannah, which our beloved Prophet, Madni Mustafa sallalaahu ta’la alaihi wasallam had surely kissed.  Now raise your both the hands in the manner where your palms face the Hajr Aswad, and recite :

“Bismillahi walhamdulillahi wallahu akbar wassalaathu wassalaam ala rasoolillah”

بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ وَالْحَمْدُ للّٰہِ وَاللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ وَالصَّلٰوۃُوَالسَّلَامُعَلٰیرَسُوْلِاللّٰہِ

Translation: By the name of Allah, the All-Mighty  اللہ سبحانہ وتعالیٰ  and all praises of Allah the Glorious, andاللہ تعالیٰis the Most High and may blessings and peace be upon the Prophet of Allahuta’la Rasoolillah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and his progeny.
