| Ka'b's personality was very prominent. He used to gather his Quraysh tribe every Friday and address them. He would give them the glad tidings of the revelation of the Holy Prophet (sws) and would tell them that the last prophet would be from their descendants. His sermon is famous. In his sermon, he used to inform the people about the resurrection of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The period between them is more than five centuries. His teachings bear witness that he was committed to the religion of Abraham. Ka'b has five sons: Marah, Hasis, Sehm, Udai, Jumh. Hazrat Zainab's wife Omar Farooq Azam, Hazrat Qudama and Hazrat Uthman bin Mazoon are descended from Hasis while Udai has two sons: Razah and Jarrah. Umm Al-Mumineen are the descendants of Hazrat Hafsa, Hazrat Umar Farooq and Hazrat Abu Ubaidah Ibn Jarrah Uday. |
